C. Penelope Duchesne is a local painter who does some amazing work. Anyone local to Chatham has no doubt seen the mural on the side of the Navistar building. Today marks the launch of her new website, designed and developed by Logix. The website acts as a marketing tool for her to reach out to new potential clients and aims to showcase some of her best completed works. From murals to residential work, Penelope covers a wide range of abilities.
The project was completed using HTML and CSS and was designed with a slight old Victorian theme at the request of the client. The faint florishes in the background along with the browns and maroons were used to give it a soft look to allow the main focus of the site, the artists work, to draw the main attention. The site was also designed slightly minimal to not distract from the artists work. Overall I’m very happy with the outcome and may even write up a case study to outline the process used to build the site.
